Paleo Apple Crumble

THis is a recipe I posted a while ago but thought it was worth posting again since it’s so good and since it’s so good I have to stop myself from eating the whole pan.  This is a treat! limit your serving size!!!.

Enoy

Ingredients

2 cups almond flour

1 teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon nutmeg

½ cup coconut oil

¼ cup agave nectar

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

5 medium apples, peeled, sliced then chopped in half width-wise

DIRECTIONS

In a large bowl, combine almond flour, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg

In a smaller bowl, combine oil, agave and vanilla

Stir wet ingredients into dry

Place apples in an 8×8 square baking dish

Crumble topping over the apples

Cover and bake at 350° for 50 minutes.

When apples are soft and their juices bubble, remove cover and bake 10-12 more minutes to brown crisp toppings

Serve warm

  1. My goodness Josee, this looks fantastic. If it wasn’t so hot today I would be planning on making my own but its roasting!!! need a cold beer instead!

    The first Directions say to mix flour, salt, nutmeg and cinn. together….how much salt? It isn’t listed in the ingredients list. I would like to make this tomorrow, please let me know.
