Updates..

Many of you have many questions about many things.. lol.. Our organization continues to spread like wildfire and for good reason. I like to think our ‘community’ or ‘culture’ as many would consider it has a positive life changing affect – EVERYWHERE it hits.. If exercise, mindful eating, and positive energy are our ‘addiction’ then – SO BE IT!! That being said – here are some brief updates on our program(s)..

Kids Program: We service over 50 kids in Cornwall, over 100 in Akwesasne, and so many more need to benefit from our program. Schools and kids have become an integral part of Caveman Strong.. With the creation of our Boys and Girls club partnership via Inside Strong – we plan on developing more programs such as Inside Strong and thus helping as many young people as possible. Our kids program prepares youth for sport, teaches them important life skills, important social skills, and allows them to work as a team and work individually. We are not comparable to sports such as hockey and soccer or anything similar.

Athlete Profiles: We plan on showing off not only our young athletes (we have many seriously talented young athletes) but the results we have been demonstrating with them.. Our athletes get stronger and more efficient every single day.. (we just put 23 pounds on Hannah’s Front squat in less than 3 weeks. Kind of important if you want to make team Canada!) we plan on making a profile/testimonial page just for young superstars! Stay tuned.

School Program: So many ideas when it comes to the school system… This project needs teacher, principles, students, volunteers, etc – to get involved and create a strong presence of fitness, healthy lifestyle, weightlifting, etc – directly in the schools. We have been approached by many schools and plan on getting schools in to the gym as well as ‘we the coaches’ getting in the schools.. I would love to see weightlifting competitions between schools and age ranges as well as fitness events geared specifically for the specific age group. Ideas are always extremely welcomed!!

Individual programs: Many of you have been asking about individualized programs. Be patient due to the fact that we are a group atmpsphere’d gym. We don’t mind putting it together however you may require a private training session or 2 with one of us.. HOWEVER – our program is definitely tailored for every body regardless of where they are at. The secret to success is listening to your coach’s recommendations.. If you need further explanation ask me directly.

Programs will be made based on the imbalances and thus problems or goals of the individual. Coaches will explain and teach every aspect of the program as many sessions as required – of course this depends on YOUR needs and the time the Coach needs to be sure you will train properly. Programs will be printed in a binder and given to you. You will record all data for the duration of the program in order to show progress. The cost for this service is in the works.

Meditation: Discussion of group mediations has been asked about. I’m in.

Saint Regis: Our bootcamp in Saint Regis has been a huge success!! Getting 8-15 people every workout is a massive sign that the ‘peeps’ of Saint Regis (and Snye – more to come here) are ready for real change. They are fed up soaring obesity rates, soaring disease rates, and looking to transform their community using fitness (weightlifting specifically) as their SWORD.. Congrats! It has been my absolute pleasure training you all and watching you get SO strong SO fast!! Let’s keep this going!!

Weightlifting Club: I knew this would happen.. I knew that the demands of weightlifting would quickly hack through many people – and guess what? – It’s totally OK!! Working out 2-3 times a day is very demanding and not possible for many of you. Don’t worry about it. We started this club to create champions down the road. The demands of a champion are quite heavy and EXPECTED! To be the best baseball pitcher in the world you need to throw a lot of pitches.. obviously.. Weightlifting is the exact same. To be the best, YOU HAVE TO TRAIN HARDER THAT EVERYONE ELSE YOU WILL EVER COMPETE AGAINST! I’m happy to say our small ‘crew’ of lifters is doing great.. Personal Records are a daily occurrence. With our next ‘meet’ going down on September 17th in Ottawa – I believe you will all demolish your previous bests. Good luck!

Summer Challenge: This Saturday at 830am at ‘La Citadelle’ high school. Be there for a great workout out in the sun!

APP: We have had some snags with our APP and we apologize.. We will let you know when it’s ready to rock. Shouldn’t be much longer.

Thorin Gault Workshop: We are working on a few different projects with Thorin.. Stay tuned.. For sure we will bring him back for many more presentations. One in the near future. We will have a sign up sheet at the gym shortly..
