I’ve made this Indian inspired dish before but with more of a paleo twist, this time I tried to make it with more of a primal and indian twist.  The mix of spices and ingredients make this dish definitely full body flavoured. It’s comfort food perfect for all the cold weather that’s been thrown our way.

Ingredients

(A: Chicken)

3 Chicken breast (organic, naturally raised chicken), cubed

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp cumin

1/4 tsp paprika

1/4 tsp cardamon

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

1/4 tsp white pepper

1/4 tsp ground cloves

3 tbsp lemon juice

1 cup of Organic full fat yogourt

Mix all ingredient in a large bowl and marinate chicken  chicken in fridge for 1-2 hours.  Cook chicken at 400 for 30-40 mins until completely cooked.

(B: Sauce)

1 can of organic tomato paste

1 sml can of organic diced tomatoes

1/4 cup of full fat cream

1 garlic clove chopped

2 tbsp green onions

2 tbsp organic butter

1 tbsp garam masala

2 tbsp cilantro

salt and pepper to taste

In a large sauce pan melt butter over medium heat and sautee garlic for 4-5 mins.  Add tomatoes, tomato paste, cloves and green onions, garam masala and stir.  Add cream and cilantro.  Stir and let simmer over low heat for 10 mins.

Drain the chicken and add to the sauce, stir and simmer over low heat for an additional 10-15 mins or until sauce thickens.

ENJOY!!!
