It takes love and devotion to both your clientelle and more importantly – YOURSELF.. The challenge of getting better, stronger, faster, younger, and of course confident make every day a ‘life lesson’. Pushing to and past your limits in the fitness arena is the only way for a true champion to emerge. It doesn’t matter if you’re a stay at home mom or a young hockey phenom. You are both of human species and require the same ‘primal movement patterns’. You need to be able to move big weight, move it quickly, move it as far as possible, and as fast as you possibly can. The magic is in the fact that everything is ‘scalable’ so each and every person works at their own limits as safe as possible.
Once I learned these basic principles back in mid-2000 I started to really develop my own philosophy. At Caveman Strong Inc we embrace the fitness protocols of CrossFit. We also endlessly search for new methods and protocols in order to keep things fresh, exciting, and interesting. We love ‘borrowing’ great ideas and experimenting with them in the gym. (always on ourselves first)
Some of the programs we like:
- CrossFit
- Bulgarian Weightlifting
- CrossFit Football
- Black Box Method
- Westside-Barbell
- Charles Poliquin (Biosignature and PICP)
- Performance Menu
- And everything in between
I take much pride in the fact that every trainer you will come across at our gym shares this same passion. They encourage a strict paleo diet. They constantly push for progress in the gym. They care about the success of their clients. And lastly, an endless amount of workshops, courses, and ‘in the trenches’ experience go hand in hand with this choice of lifestyle.
