THANK YOU THORIN GAULT FOR SHARING YOUR SECRET FAMILY SMOOTHY RECIPE WITH US.
You're definitely starting
your day off on the right food by having one of these smoothies for breakfast,
it's also a great way to get some power food, nutrients and supplements into your
children's diet.
A few people have asked for me to share this recipe, which because of the whey powder
is technically not Paleo and due to the banana not ideal for fat loss, is a very
convenient way to get some good nutrition, lots of protein and is also a great
vehicle for getting supplements into small children.
I make a whole blender full for the 4 of us each weekday morning, so experiment
with the quantities of each ingredient.
In a blender mix:
-Whey Powder (look for minimal filler - North Coast Naturals at Your Independent)
-Banana
-Frozen mixed berries
-Cinnamon
-Greens powder (look for no sweetener)
-Fish Oil (high quality like carried by Tyler or Gault Family Chiropractic)
-Water

For the kids:
- break vit. D3 capsule and probitic capsule into cup and mix before serving.

For brave adults:
-add 2-4 raw eggs and blend (organic, free range eggs minimize chance of
salmonella contamination)
