Caveman Strong or “The Cave” is a community of like minded individuals who come together to better themselves through movement, mindfulness, and education. Being healthy in an unhealthy world requires both learning and unlearning.

Tyler Touchette
FOUNDER & HEAD COACH
Tyler brings a wealth of experience and is the driving force behind the Caveman Strong Philosophy. A passionate advocate for movement and nutrition as a cure to many of our world’s problems, Tyler is dedicated to sharing this message with everyone.

Josee Filion
OWNER & REGISTERED NUTRITIONIST
Josee Filion has been with Caveman Strong for over 10 years. Her experience runs deep . She is a movement teacher, a nutrition and lifestyle coach, and proud mother of three. She has taken over 20 fitness certifications including Pilates, Agatsu Kettlebell courses, Gymnastic bodies courses and Masterclasses and recently Graduated with Honours from CSNN.

Kylie Jurchuk
REGISTERED NUTRITIONIST & COACH
Kylie started with Caveman Strong when she was 12 years old! She knew at a young age that she wanted to teach people a better way to live and embrace a healthy lifestyle. She has the experience of coaches twice her age and has recently graduated from one of Canada’s top holistic nutrition programs – Canadian School of Natural Nutrition which gives her the designation of Registered Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N.)

Michelle McPhee
COACH
Michelle has been a student of the ‘gym game’ since high school. She is an all around athlete, and currently runs our ‘kids athletics’ program. Michelle has a 2 year college diploma in exercise and health science, completed the ‘CavemanStrong Teacher Training’ program, was an intern of CavemanStrong (back in college) and worked at Movati in Ottawa for 3 years (where she had a strong following and clientele).

Ron Ianni
PERSONAL TRAINER
At 14, during the pandemic, Ron began his fitness journey with bodyweight exercises and sought guidance from a local coach. His dedication to honing his skills and passion for exercise became evident to those around him. By 17, it was clear that Ron had a promising future as a personal trainer. He obtained his Level 1 Kettlebell certification, enrolled in the Poliquin Personal Training course, and gained practical experience shadowing Strength and Movement coach Tyler Touchette. At 18, he was hired to train clients at Caveman Strong, all while continuing his education in personal training and helping others on their fitness journeys.

Greg Mellios
PERSONAL TRAINER & FASCIAL STRETCH THERAPIST
Greg studied kinesiology, human anatomy, and biomechanics at Bishop’s University and is a certified personal trainer, fascial stretch therapist, and athletic performance coach. As a former competitive athlete in lacrosse and university football for the Bishop Gaiters, he understands the impact of pain and injuries on the body. Having experienced significant injuries himself, Greg adopts a multifaceted approach to healing, utilizing fascial stretch therapy and mobility coaching to treat a wide variety of injuries. He helps clients move optimally to prevent further injury and return to their favorite activities, employing various modalities such as traction, circumduction, and rhythmic mobilization to create space in the joints, release tension, increase blood flow, and promote healing.
